Affiliate disclosure
The service is free, and this is how we cover the cost: some links on the site and in the app are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission when you book through them. It is all written out here.

What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link carries our identifier. If you book through one, the supplier (or its affiliate network) pays us a share of the transaction or a fixed amount. We do not receive your payment and do not see your booking details.
The commission is paid by the supplier and is not added to the price. You pay the same price the supplier charges when you go to its site directly. The supplier may set a cookie on its side to credit the booking to us.
Who we work with
Flights: on the website, the booking button opens Google Flights, where you choose an airline or agency and pay them directly. We earn no commission on a flight booked that way. In the app, the flight search screen is Travelpayouts' own, and a purchase through it carries our Aviasales affiliate code.
Air Serbia flights: the "On Air Serbia" button on one of their flights is an affiliate link through CJ, and we earn a commission when you book on their site within the period they set for it.
Vueling flights: the "Book on Vueling" button on one of their flights is an affiliate link through CJ, and we earn a commission when you book on their site within the period they set for it.
LOT flights: the "lot.com" link on one of their flights is an affiliate link through CJ, and we earn a commission when you book on their site within the period they set for it.
Stays: the Booking.com booking buttons are affiliate links through CJ (Commission Junction), both to a specific hotel's page when we have found it and to a Booking.com search when we have not, and we earn a commission when you book in that same visit.
Stays on Expedia: when Google lists Expedia for a hotel, it appears in that hotel's "Book" menu and in its row in the prices by site. These are affiliate links of the Expedia Group Travel Creator Program. They open the hotel's page on Expedia when we have found it, and otherwise an Expedia search, and we earn a commission when you book through them.
Stays on Hotels.com: for visitors from Israel and the Middle East, when Google lists Hotels.com for a hotel, it appears in that hotel's "Book" menu, and the button on the Hotels.com row in the prices by site goes through our link. It is an affiliate link of Hotels.com (Expedia Group) through the CJ network: it opens the hotel's page on Hotels.com with your dates and guests when we have found it, and otherwise a search for the hotel on Hotels.com, and we earn a commission only on a completed stay.
Stays on trivago: for visitors from Japan only, a "trivago" option in a hotel's "Book" menu opens trivago.jp's results for that hotel. It is an affiliate link of trivago through the CJ network, and we earn a commission on the click from trivago to the site you book on.
Tours on GetYourGuide: for visitors from the United States and Canada only, the tours screen shows an "On GetYourGuide" link for the city, and an attraction page with tickets shows an "On GetYourGuide" link for the place. They are affiliate links of GetYourGuide through the CJ network: they open the city's or the place's page on GetYourGuide when we have found it, and otherwise a GetYourGuide search, and we earn a commission when you book through them.
Tours and tickets: Viator, directly, and Tiqets through Travelpayouts.
"What to book": Saily eSIMs, car rental from Booking.com and airport transfers from Suntransfers, the last two through CJ, all affiliate links.
Campers and other rental sites in the chat: when you look for a camper or motorhome, the Auto Europe and PaulCamper cards; when the Booking.com cars don't suit you, the Auto Europe, Localrent, GetRentacar and Suntransfers cards. All are affiliate links, through Travelpayouts (Suntransfers through CJ).
In the chat: where the itinerary calls for it, we instruct Mighty to include affiliate links for whole-trip services, such as car rental, airport transfers, eSIMs, luggage storage, city passes or flight compensation, from a list of companies that work with Travelpayouts (for example GetRentacar, Localrent, AutoEurope, Kiwitaxi, GetTransfer, Airalo, Yesim, Saily, AirHelp, Radical Storage and Go City).
What is not an affiliate link
Links to places on Google Maps, to places' and restaurants' own websites, to social media videos, and to the sellers shown under "Or book directly with a seller" in a flight's details, when that option is shown, are not affiliate links and earn us nothing.
What it changes and what it does not
The places in your itinerary are chosen from what you asked for, not from commission, and we do not rank hotels, flights or tours by commission.
But the booking options we show for tours, tickets, car rental and eSIMs come only from our partners. We do not compare the whole market, and you may find other or cheaper offers elsewhere.
Every affiliate link on the site and in the chat is marked "Affiliate link" (inside chat text a small asterisk follows the link, and "Affiliate links" appears under the message). The mark leads to this page.
